A sweet barbecue rub with apple flavor. It works on its own, and it's excellent layered over a savory base.

Heath's competition ribs get more than one rub. A savory base layer like Everyday or Garlic Jalapeño goes down first, then a sweet layer like Honey, Pecan or one of the fruit rubs goes over it for color and flavor.
