Croix Valley started as the house steak sauce at the Holter family's steakhouse in the Wisconsin Northwoods in 1996. Customers kept asking for bottles, and in 2009 Damon and Lu Holter started bottling it. The line has grown from there.

This one is honey sweetness with a mellow smoke underneath. It's the easy one, sweet but not sticky, and the bottle for anybody at the table who doesn't want heat.

Croix Valley says its sauces are all natural and gluten free.

Chicken, ribs, pork chops, and a dip for chicken tenders.
