Yardbird is far and away our most popular poultry rub. It was one of the first rubs we put on the shelf when we opened, and it's never left.

I found Plowboys while I was traveling through the Kansas City area, before I had the store. I was told I had to try it, and it blew me away. It's a staple at my house.

Plowboys BBQ is Todd Johns and his brother-in-law Randy Hinck, who compete as the Pork Pullin' Plowboys. In 2009 they beat 123 past grand champions to win the American Royal Invitational.

Yardbird is savory with a touch of sweetness, followed by just a little heat on the back of the tongue. It was built for competition chicken.
